How to use this itinerary
Fourteen days supports three regions only when each has a clear purpose: Lingnan culture, Guangxi landscapes, and one focused Yunnan area.
Why this route works
The route uses major corridors and multiple nights per base, protecting recovery time after longer movements.
How to adjust it
Yunnan is too large to combine every famous city in the remaining days. Select one coherent area or devote the final section to more of Guangxi.

Day-by-Day Plan
Days 1–3 — Guangzhou
Use Guangzhou for arrival, practical setup, heritage, food, and the Pearl River.
Day 4 — Travel to Guangxi
Move by rail and keep the remainder local, confirming the correct station for the hotel.
Days 5–8 — Guangxi landscapes
Use at most two or three bases for Guilin, Yangshuo, and an optional rural extension.
Day 9 — Transfer to Yunnan
Treat the interregional move as the day’s main task and choose rail or air by the actual base.
Days 10–13 — Focused Yunnan region
Choose one coherent regional plan with time for culture, landscape, and slower roads.
Day 14 — Departure buffer
Stay close to the departure gateway; move there the previous day if the international flight leaves elsewhere.
